The Guitar stuff, so far.....

This is theMandocello I made for my friend Ev.  It has 8 strings like a mandolin, but it's tuned like a cello.  A great sound!  I need to build one for me.  Both the top and back are carved out of 1.5 inch hunks of wood.

We made the case upholstery too!

I had a Jazzmaster in Highschool but sold it ....  So I made a Spazzmaster! Also a strat copy--my Fat-o-caster

This is Marilyn's Walnut uke.

 This is an all scrape wood Maccaferri uke!



A Maccaferri Concert Model.  Like the gypsy jazz guitar but with a glued-on bridge and classical fan-bracing.  Currently re-working the neck..

 

This was a commission:  A PRS copy with a Limba back, Maple top and neck and rosewood fingerboard.
